- never miss a show again

Yo La Tengo

What a great show...

Marking the 30th anniversary of KUSF, Yo La Tengo sprinkled their set with covers of songs released 30 years ago, in 1977. When YLT opened with a Ramones cover ("Sheena is a Punk Rocker"), I knew we were in for a special show.

Jonathan Segel from Camper Van Beethoven joined the band for most of the set on violin, helping to deliver a Fleetwood Mac cover and a gut-wrenching version of "Heroes" by David Bowie. Lots of songs off "I am not afraid of you and I will beat your ass".

So glad I was able to score a ticket to this show!
